Ashtanga yoga is a form of yoga where breathing and postures work together to balance the energies. In addition to its positive effects on the mind, yoga is also a fantastic way to get in shape.
With yoga you achieve mobility, body awareness, strength and balance. Yoga also improves concentration, increases mental focus and reduced stress. Yoga is also a way to get to know yourself better, to dare to stretch your limits and develop as a person.
This course is for beginners as well as for persons with some previous experience with yoga.
You will learn the eight basic steps in ashtanga yoga, focusing on asanas. In addition to asanas, you will learn pranayamas (breathing exercises), and relaxation and meditation techniques.
Things to remember
Wear soft and comfortable clothes. Please bring your own yoga mat. Exercises are performed barefoot.
